Would anyone here in their right mind accept the fact that someone wants to leave and support them emotionally before their journey?
I don't think I would ADD to their efforts, but I would support their decision 100%. We all have the right to suicide in my honest opinion. Telling them they are dramatic and calling the authority on them would only make it worse.
Yes it is costly, more so if you fail, but what if one had a plan to make their passing easier for those around them? Say if that person sold all their shit and sent the money to a relative with a letter saying it was for the cremation/any hidden costs.
I totally agree about the slave thing. Of course the government doesn't approve because its losing its ants.
Family are going to be destroyed emotionally, which is worse. The best solution that I could see would be to talk to the family and allow them to come to grips with it first. The only problem is that family wants to help you think differently and change your mind. Family will call the cops on you and have you put in a mental ward. I would definitely rather die than go to a mental ward or be manhandled by police with tasers/pepper spray who are just going to abuse me anyways. So what is the fair solution? I mean if death is a blank sheet of paper and I may never remember anything, I am not going to care if they hurt once I am gone. The thought of them being alright before I go is going to be the hardest part. How does one have family come to grips with passing as an OK thing?
No one wants to see a 24yr old kill themself, but what if they truly have believed that is the best solution for over 10 years? What if they TRULY believe that if they don't, they may do worse things to others? What if they not only saw it as an ending to their own misery, but the prevention of further misery for others as well? What if there are benefits to the rest of you that extend beyond the loss of that person alone?
