New Whipped cream dispenser!

I was looking around for a whipped cream dispenser but they were all really expensive even on ebay (40-60$). I got really lucky though because I found this one on kijiji (It's like craigslist) for only 25 bucks! It's a full litre and heavy metal :cool:

I used to just get the $20-25 ones from Cr********. Cheap, disposable and hell, no whipped cream dispenser is going to last more than a few cases (not boxes, cases) without needing all the seals and puncture needle replaced anyways...

It was nice cause CR******** would send me "rebuild" kits for free that included all new seals and I'd just sand down old worn out needles.

When those fuckers wear out, they are DANGEROUS... I've been pelted by super frozen ice pellets in the face on more than one occasion...

The seal around the needle went out fast but was replaced by some electrical tape and works just as well for me.

Yeah, that's the one that goes out first. It sucks being in the heat of the moment trying to twist those fuckers on there fast enough so that you don't lose 3/4 of a whippit.

I had some of those seals break into 6+ pieces. They just aren't meant to handle the wear and tear a proper nitrous oxide addict can exert on them.

I have a few of these.

After using these for a long time and then trying a balloon, I never ever want to use a balloon again.

You can exhale into a balloon. I used to take a huge hit off the dispenser (it's not too cold), then exhale into a balloon. Take the rest of the hit off the dispenser (i'd load 2 or 3 whippits in the dispenser).

And by the time you are done, you've let go of the balloon and it's smacked someone in the head while you are leaning forward doing repetitive bobbing up and down motions for the next 30 seconds. :tongue:

i have a question for you guys, you said you fixed the seal around the needle that punctures the whippit; but how would i go about fixing the seal where the long part comes out that you shove into your bag/balloon.

everytime i put a whippit in my dispenser it seems to leak out of it for like... 3 seconds? it stops after that though. but doesnt let out all of the gas (maybe 1/4th max, which i still dont wanna be losing anyway)

its coming out of the end. not the part where it connects near the gripper.

What I'm talking about is the part where you screw the whippit in. It has a rubber gasket with a hollow needle protruding from it.

To replace that gasket, there's usually a metal threaded fitting that screws in to keep the gasket and needle in place. Just stick a penny in the slot on each side and unscrew it.
