Why is suicide illegal?

I think Futurama had the right idea with the little booth. Cheap, efficient, disposes of the bodies. I would be in there right now mashing the buttons like fat fingers while texting :grin:

I dont thinki its possible to enforce... but if you got in trouble with the law with an attempted suicide, its because of dumb fucking people who think its immoral or against gods will.

An overwhelming majority of suicides are not sincere decisions.

This is from Cracked.com (not a reliable source, but I can't be arsed to look up the study at the moment:

I hope that the 94% found something to make life worthwhile and aren't just quitters.

If I may paraphrase Doug Stanhope:

It's sad when kids kill themselves because they never really gave life a chance.  But if you've sat through more than half of a movie and it sucks, it's probably not going to get really great right at the end.
