If you like the nitrogenation of Guiness, try Boddingtons.  It also has a widget (little plastic ball in the can) that releases nitrogen as you drink it.

Hoegaarden and Duvel are completely different beers...aside from their country of origin.  I've had Duvel before...it isn't bad but I think a lot of the Unibroue beers from Quebec are far superior...La Fin Du La Monde is a similar style, tastes smoother and is actually higher in alcohol...9%!!!!  Unibroue also makes a white beer that is similar to Hoegaarden called Blanche de Chambly...good shit

Newcastle = Newcastle Brown Ale.  I know it's available in Canada because I just bought some.  You can get it either in bottles or large cans.

The cans are actually produced in England and exported here. There are a lot of good British/Irish beers that come in cans...nothing wrong with it.

Fred was the first 10%+ beer I ever had. I wrote them an e-mail and told them that I enjoyed it and they wrote me back. I recently had an 18% beer, but Fred will always hold a special place in my heart.

Favorite beer: Fat Tire(New Belguim Brewery)

Favorite daily beer: Budweiser, Long LIve the King

Favorite cheap beer: Keystone Ice, high alcohol %, same price as the light

Guiness isn't a beer, it's an experience in and of itself, and a meal!

Interesting Fact...Guinness is actually one of the lowest calorie beers you can get (not including lite beers of course). The "meal in a glass" thing is an illusion from all the nitrogen settling in your stomach.

Murphys Irish Stout! That stuff is good. I think you can find it throughout the states, not just England. It's at least easy to find here. It tastes very much like Guiness.

This was in the early 80's and it was on tap! Great stuff.....I think I did get it here a few years back in cans but it wasn't the same.

Fat Tire is notorious here in the midwest. You can't really find it here though. When someone says they're travelling to Colorado, somone always requests that they bring back a case of Fat Tire. I had it once after a few of my rommates took a road trip to Colorado. I can't remember what it was like but I remember liking it.

Murphy's is great stuff. If you guys like that, give Beamish Irish Stout a try.

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.
