fucking camp bisco

I've gone three years, and every year after the first i was like "NO, never again".

i was looking at the line up and its pretty sick.  I only really like diesel boy, but they have a shit ton of stuff i kind of like.

really look through it, the line up is pretty huge.

Yep. It looks awesome. If I could get in for free with a VIP pass and have someone share their hotel room with me like last year so I didn't have to camp with Bisco kids....I'd be sold on it!

camping with the bisco kids is the best part.

all drugged out, never looking directly at anyone other than the people the came with... rushing along stumbling and yelling.

then by like 1am... bed time, everything is quiet.

a guy i know does brought out his sound system a couple of years and spun psytrance, and people threatened him with physical violence.

yeah i know.  how many thousand people go every year?  and its always like me and 10 other people walking around at night...

i dunno, bisco is one of the few places i go and never end up talking to people.  I mean i do, but never for long.  it always seems like everyone is out of it.

the only cool part is there is this guy "just chillen" that goes sometimes.  when you're altered, he gives off a very creepy and bizarre vibe, i loved hanging out with him.

he looks like a vampire, in his mid 40's, every time i've seen him shaved head.

Eh, the drugs you find there aren't even going to be of that great quality. I like drugs and all, but I'll hold out for purity and quality and dependability.

Even if you scored some quality drugs, it becomes a set/setting thing...anyway. Whatever - I just hate the bisco scene. :lol: That's all.

My standout memory from my one trip to Bisco was this white board that had a sign entreating everyone to create a collaborative piece of artwork, on one of the main pathways in the campgrounds.

It looked like someone had fed a bunch of kindergarteners some methamphetamine and handed them sharpie markers.  I thought, "Wow, if this piece of 'art' is a reflection of the inner psyche of this crowd..."

i don't mind the people so much, in my estimation not really very many scene's with decent people.

i more don't like the completely shitty production of the thing.  they always manage to schedual things retarded (i remember the year with the tornado it was amon tobin at the same time as sphongle... and both were in like the middle of the day).  the sound on their alternate stages was really shitty 2 years.  Their attempt at deco has been laughable and half assed. the tent stage smelled like shit and was covered in mud.  ect, ect.

edit: i defintely have gotten the feeling there is magic in the air though.  just not for me.  i remember one year the sky was completely lighting up with "heat lightning".  not making a sound, just lightning all over the sky.  bisco played some classical music through it.  I was thinking "man i bet i would totally be into this if i was into this"

I have heard some horror stories of sketchiness from teh Camp. Tales of people slitting holes in tents and shitting in them to a guy taking a dump, leaning on the rail by one of the main stages in the middle of a Biscuits set.:skake:

Aside from shit(:smirk:) stories like that, I have heard only funny, shenanigan type stories and raves about the line up.
