Lightbulb Vape

Question guys, I've got a 'soft white floodlight 65' by GE. It would make a perfect vaporizer, aside from the fact that it has some random silver coating on the inside. Anyone know what this stuff is? I tried to burn it off, but it didn't even start fuming, even with my torch lighter. Would it still be safe to smoke out of this? I honestly am not sure. The stuff didn't start fuming, so I figure I'd be alright, but if the 'silver coating' is some toxic shit I don't really want to take a chance. Thanks everyone

Try getting a clear aquarium bulb. They are long and skinny, and CLEAR!!!

Don't smoke out of that!!!

Well, see, the reason I was considering using this flood light, is because I want it for Salvia. Which is a little difficult to do in a regular lightbulb. It can be done, but they regular bulbs crack too easily when you have to get it hot enough for Salvia.

Would aquarium bulbs get to the heat I need? Thanks!

Is it a powder? Make sure the inside is completely dry if you tried to wash it out then put some salt in and swirl it around a bunch until all the coating comes off. Pour it out then do it again with new salt. Then rinse it out with water or even better isopropyl. Then when it's dry give it another salt swirl and rinse it again.

You probably don't have to do it that many times but I'd be very worried about what that stuff actually is.

try putting some sand inside and swirling it about for five or ten minutes. it may take off the coating quite well; back in the day that is how i cleaned out bulbs that had tough stuff on the inside.

I bet vaping salvia like that will have less of an effect than just smoking it.  I always used a regular lighter and broke through every single time.:shrug:

The salt trick works just make sure you clean it REALLY well and wash it with soap and water afterwards
