I can't believe how bad SNL is

there is a story on yahoo about SNL so i'm watching a couple clips.

every time i watch that show i can't believe how bad it is.

Alot of people I know are all like "the average american is a fucking moron".  most of the time while walking around i forget that, watching SNL completely reminds me.

it seems like almost every time in the past 5 years i've watched a couple minutes of the show, its been like something a high school student would make if they had like a 2000$ budget.

Most mainstream entertainment is pure shit man. It's not going to get any better either since it's all catered to the lowest common denominator.

i don't think its a reflection of society's stupidity, the cast just sucks... people were stupid in the mid-late 90's as well, but the SNL cast had talent then

Then why hasn't it been canceled yet? It's been terrible for a long time.

cause no one has the balls to cancel it, saturday night live is an institution. how many shows have aired consistently for 30+ years? not many... tonight show is the only other one i can think of, and it sucks ass now too

it could be good again some day, maybe.... hmm :mad2:

okay fair enough.  lets say the management in general sucks too, because the writers should get some of the blame, and the people that hired both the writers and the cast.

That might be so but who has low enough standards of comedy to keep watching it? I'd rather watch paint dry. At least then I'd I could have some interesting thoughts.

I haven't liked SNL for many years now.  The days of Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, and the rest of that crew are over.  These guys suck balls nowadays.
