Can I get my shroomery user name off google or change my user name?

Hello this is probably a tedious post, but

My user name is a word I made up, and it is exclusively used by me. therefore anyone who's heard the word can type it into google and knows that this is me. and what if a potential employer find that I'm a shroom user!

how can I get my shroomery link off google>!??!!!!

I hear you OP.  I started my account here with a random name that I since started using for other new accounts.  Some of those accounts have gone fringe so friends know the name, from there if one of them does something to connect my real name to this screenname, in a post or something, then prying eyes can follow the chain with some certainty of accuracy.  Just be careful :shrug:  If it is really bugging you pay the $10 to get your name changed.

I have had people track my posts down on google.  Mainly friends and my parents.  My mom hits me up every once in a while inquiring about things I've never told her.

There is no way.


Even if you change your shroomery nick, the old one will still be quoted a million times.


The only way is to make sure your employers never find out your shroomery name and that there is no connection between your real name and your nick.

If its too late, which it probably is, you'll need to find a cool employer.
