It sounds as if your moral compass, if it indeed points true north, broke and was never repaired.

But hey..... even a broken clock is right twice a day.

You are making no sense whatsoever. (Why am I surprised?)

Having a slow day?

It means... the compass is stuck on North and no matter which way you spin it, it points the same direction.

If you still don't get it maybe your mommy or daddy (or your parole officer) will explain it to you.

Oh my god.
A compass points N always. (you ever even seen a compass in person?) and has jack shit to do with this thread because I don't steal shit. Unless you're Jack Sparrow or are in the middle of some wonky magnetic field, a compass points N. You don't get to choose which way it points.

You don't SPIN a compass. No matter where you stand on Earth (the Black Pearl and magnetic anomalies aside), you can hold a compass in your hand and it will point toward the North Pole - more commonly known as NORTH.

As for your "side" of the debate:
You are not even using your own brain to think/forming your own opinions here, instead you are just spouting out whatever you think sounds right and the saddest part is that you know it as well as I.

*Sees there's no further point in trying to explain this to you.*

Let's try this in even simpler terms.

If a compass is broken, it will point whichever way you wish it to. Because it's broken. Following still?

If you spin it (twist, rotate, turn... whatever) as you are spinning it sooner or later it will pass North, thus reading correctly. Am I going too fast?

Hence, even a broken clock is right twice a day.  For example, hands stuck at 4:40. As there is a 4:40 AM and PM, it will be right twice a day. Still with me?

OK, pay attention now...... a broken moral compass will allow you to be moral sometimes but not all the time, even for the same act. As you twist and turn your moral compass, sometimes it will read correctly, sometimes not. Remember, it's broken.

Therefore, and here's the kicker, someone who can justify stealing in one setting.... has a broken moral compass.

Note for the overly sensitive: "You did not necessarily mean "You" personally. Just those who can justify things that are wrong.

Was that simple enough, because really.... at this point I'm not sure how to explain it in simpler terms.

Your comparing stealing a gun from a murderer to stealing from Walmart?

Wow. I weep for you as well.

Your analogy..... sucks ass.

Zactly.

Further to the point, I don't recall justifying stealing at all. Show me where I did that and I'll show you where you're wrong.
