You can softmod your Wii fairly easily. Look up twilight princess hack. I use Neogamma to load burnt games, and yes you can find many Wii games on demonoid. New Super Mario Bros Wii is a blast!

There are plenty of tutorials on youtube etc, that are more in depth than anything I could tell you. So just start searching.

don't think you need a game anymore, i haven't looked into it, but i did read that somewhere.

also, best way to load games IMO would be usbloader and an external drive, going to try to set mine up over christmas that way, but you can also burn them onto discs.

EDIT: about setting up USB loader, i know some peopel here have done it, anyone got some good links w/ latest version and good instructions?  Could save me some reading time to be sure i have the right stuff...

alright, installed cIOS 249 rev15, configurable usb loader and the forwarder to make a channel out of it, which launches games directly off of a 500gb external drive, works great, now just need to find some great games to load it up with :laugh:

Oh, and also installed bootmii as well, and backed up my nand before starting any of it, luckily, i have a wii where i can install it to boot2, so now i have a wii that i can try whatever i want without fear of bricking!!!

Used luckysky's link above to do some reading...truthfully, its a pain in the ass with how unorganized and messy the whole wii scene is.  i had to read for probably 4 hours just to figure out what the fuck was going on, then another hour or so to make sure i got everythign like i wanted it and prepared before i began updating and installing wads and IOS files and what not.  I did already have mine modded though, but could just launch games off of discs using wiiGator, but now i have waninkoko cIOS and the cfg usb loader, which is MUCH nicer...lol

just install bootmii to your boot2 as soon as you are able and if your wii can have it, then if you ever do brick it, its easily fixable, i think there are some other preloaders that help make it safe as well...though yes, just getting there is a slight risk, but if you pay attention and read over what you are doing, its practically 0 unless power goes out or you unplug it or something...

i get them from usenet, but thanks, i will remember it...

EDIT: Went there, and how do you download stuff from rapidshare and the like without an account easier, i don't want to pay for one, but waiting 45 seconds for one, then having to wait even longer for the next 12 parts...its just not usable to me almost... :frown:
