planning on dipping from probation , got a ?

So I have 2 different probation sentences Im on right now. One for misdemeanor larceny and one for misdemeanor possession of stolen property. First ones suspended sentence is 30 days and the second is 45.

Im bouncin out to another county a few hours away, not leaving the state. Now, Ive been searchin on the interwebs about whats going to happen to me when I do decide to turn myself in and from what I gathered the most they can do is activate my sentence. Now they cant give me more jail time then what im already sentenced to because I fled can they? Im not really even fleeing im just not showing up for probation because I know she's going to lock me up today and I'd like to waste time bouncin around in county jails and waiting for court dates then spend the full 45 in prison.

Or they can put me on MORE probation which I really dont want because its 2 years and like $2k i dont feel like spending.

Any words of wisdom my friends?

if you flee the country while your on double probation then don't plan on coming back unless your prepared to do some prison time.

my advice... quit doing drugs until probation is over, stay clean and out of trouble, and get through this shit without landing yourself more jail time then you already face.

Canada and mexico both have extradition treaties try Bolivia or Valenzuela .

hell if u really want my opinion go to goa or morrocco and smoke sum hash all day long. or nepal even. fuck it just go to amsterdam. or the jungles of amazon.

i wouldnt leave the county. most ppl ive heard of who do that get caught bc tur still so close. leaving the countr is ur best bet or just dealing with probation.

hahaha its straight. I really dont mind the jail time. Id just rather not go to my PO today and get my court date and when that comes go straight to prison. I'd like to get time served for sittin in county

though it has more to do with my financial situation then not doing drugs and being being under someones control really gets to me. I want to do my time and not be another victim of the small governments scam around here. Seems like they put you on probation, charge you ridiculous amounts of monies and keep you broke. And people in poverty are more prone to crime. kind of an endless cycle

I really hope all of the folks telling you to flee the country aren't being serious. If you get caught a county over, they'll probably ship you back to the county where you had charges. If you get caught a few states over, they may or may not spring for it, since you really don't have that much time to serve.

If you're serious about it, just go ahead and serve your time so you can move on with your life. 45 days isn't that long and it'll follow you forever. I would simply go ahead and surrender rather than dip on probation.

Id rather be broke and able to breathe fresh air.
If your in prison you cant make any money anyway.
If your free you can make enough money to pay off the fees and then some.

I feel ya on that I really dont find 45 days to be much at all. I just talked to my buddy who just got out of prison and it sounded alot like my basic training when i was in the army. getting told when to eat sleep shower and shit. I just feel like I need to go on an adventure first, somewhere new and exciting so thats what Im doin and plus I'm only runnin for like a month or at least enough time to do one more big grow ;]

You're gonna do time when you come back, running from probation is a violation of probation as well as fleeing from the police both of which don't look to good when presented to a judge.

Best thing to do is do it now, get it out of the way, and play it smart when you get out. Don't make things worse for yourself.
