Paul Stamets cultivation seminar

Has anyone been to one of his seminars and would it be worth spending the 800 bucks plus lodging, food, and airfare to get there? A friend and I want to start a commercial edible operation this spring and thought we might ask the community what their thoughts are on his workshops.

meh. i wouldnt pay to see him. but i have been to a short lecture in oakland that he dd. It was good. it was on psychoactives though.

Ya, we we're wondering how inclusive his workshops were because there isn't really too much info available on his site as far as a lesson plan or the like.

If $800 isn't a big sum of money for you, I'd certainly go.  You get to see first-hand a very successful business model for mushroom success. I found it very inspiring.  Just walking into the grow room was an experience I'll never forget. Not since grad school have I been so impressed with an intellect such as Paul Stamets.

Thanks, no that investment wouldn't be too much considering the overall investment is going to be 40 to 50 thousand, Luckily we already have a building to keep costs down. but 1600 for the two of us considering we will probably learn some things that will help make us money in the long term is really just a drop in the bucket
