Great, smooth cigarettes?

I'm looking for a good, smooth, good tasting cigarette. I had the privilege of smoking a Djarum Black (which was awesome) at a party last weekend, only to find out they've been illegal in the US since September...

I'm smoking Camel No. 9s right now, and they're great. They're much smoother than Camel lights. More aimed towards women though. I'd just like a cigarette that smokes well and isn't too harsh, but has a good bit of nicotine in it as well.

Any suggestions?

i started at 21.  i bought a pack of tops because i wanted to learn to blow smoke rings but didn't want to waste my expensive pot.  i pretty much always ghost it when i'm smoking herb, so rings weren't really possible, unless i exhaled way sooner than i prefer to.

i never actually finished that pack of tops, but i very slowly started bumming drags from people when i was drunk and/or at the bar with friends.  at first just to show them i could blow rings.  then because i noticed it enhanced my drunk quite nicely.  bummed drags became bummed cigs. 

soon enough, bought my first pack of american spirit organic lights, which i only smoked while drinking.  soon i found smoke breaks to be quite welcome and somewhat cathartic while studying.  then i discovered i liked smoking while driving - shortly after i lit a cig every time i got into my car.

haha.  slippery slope.  i've been rolling my own for the past year and a half now.  bali shag golden FTW.  i actually enjoy the taste quite a bit.

menthols... blegh.  can't do it.  give me a nice earthy full-flavored tobacco over chemy menthols any day.  there have been times when i've asked to bum a cig and actually had to be like "ah.. menthols... err.. no thanks"

Do you regret your decision or not?

When I'm drunk I do crave a smoke(I mix tobacco in with every j I smoke) but I just have a j. :shrug:

I've never bought a pack of fags. People are always willing to throw a fag for a good cause:grin:

Misty menthol light 100s are nice as well as Monarch and GPC full flavor.

i do and i don't.  i mean.  i know it's bad for me.  i know it's carcinogenic, but then again, fucking everything is these days.  even with lung cancer factored in, we're living wayyyy longer than any generation before us.  so i might shave a couple years off my life :shrug:.  and of course there's no guarantee i'll make it that long anyways.

i do enjoy it.  particularly when i drink.  also as a break from work and a complement to herb (as in smoke a bowl, then step out for a cig).  i wouldn't say i've got a particularly strong addiction to the point where cigarettes really control me at all.  i went cold turkey for about a month and a half without really even meaning to or batting an eye over it. 

one thing that i don't like though, is that i've discovered when i'm traveling with no strict purpose or job to do, i smoke like a fucking fiend.  a pouch of rolling tobacco in my typical life lasts me like 2-3 weeks or so.  in my first 3 days traveling, i went through a pouch and a half.  it's just so easy to be like "whelp, i'm outside with nothing in particular to do, i think i'll roll a cig".  especially in europe where fucking everyone seems to smoke, especially hot women.  the influence was too great.

what about cigars? ive never smoked a cigar, ive inhaled one and that was a mistake, but that was when i was young :laugh: would you recommend it? im goin to vietnam during christmas so thought id get some nice ones from there :P

If you haven't tried it or if you haven't tried it recently I suggest you do.


I find pipes and bongs are too hot on the throat and don't last long enough.

True,it's a compact hit but that's not what I strive for.

You can relax with a joint and it lasts longer than a cig.

Seems you're enjoying yourself with the fags though.

Will you try try a mixture of both for me,pretty please? It's the done thing here and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Good cigars actually taste nice and are enjoyable socially for at least an hour. Some of the best time I've spent with my dad has been smoking expensive cigars with him.

Personally I dislike Djarum Blacks, everyone fucking loves them except me. Cloves are just disgusting to me.

oh i've smoked my fair share of spliffs.  i just tend to use glass because i seem to get better weed economy with it.  i.e. higher off of less.

that said, i really wish i could get some fucking hash.  i had a friend who spent a year in italy and she said she smoked hash cigs like crazy.  that got me fiending for the european hash cig experience.  i've never had hash in the states.

problem is, i haven't got any green whatsoever.  no bud, no hash, not even any friggin resin.  so there will be no spliffs in my near future.  at least, not until i do a small amount of traveling off this farm next month.  maybe i'll be able to find some then.  hopefully by that point, i'll have some jwh-073 as well.
