Share the stupidest things you have ever done at work

Fuck my life. This is my first day of work since i missed a mandatory work meeting and it was one of those big stupid things where everyone makes a big deal about not missing it cause attendence would be taken. Naturally it slipped my mind completely and I spent that day sitting around and doing nothing!  The day before I had just written notes reminding the manager I wouldnt be there halloween weekend, and that I needed to change my schedule, and lets not even mention I was still kinda tripping when I first came in. Im usually a very good employee but its been a rough week and if i get fired over this the shits gonna hit the fan.

I'm in the library at the 'Learning Commons'.  People occasionally bring me their computers and I attempt to fix them.  Pretty easy job for 11/hr, and I can just study/do whatever.  Siiiiick

One time I forgot to strap my 220 dollar telescoping Werner Ladder to the top of my car.  I didn't realize it until I got to the next job sight and no longer had a ladder.  That day sucked shit.

While working for a large auto auction I got air in a Jaguar (ramped it over a bridge).  That heavy bastard slammed s hard against the pavement it caused a couple fluid leaks and fucked up the steering and suspension really bad.

I was supposed to drive it to an abandoned satellite lot 5 miles from the auction, which I did, and parked it amongst the thousands of other cars.  I never heard anything about it after.  :awesome:

We fucked up a lot of cars working for that place but that one got it the worst.

Hmm that was dick now that I think about it, but I did a lot of destructive shit when I was 18.

I went clubbing one night and didn't make it home until time to get ready for work and I was drunk and strung out about as tight as a banjo string.

So I go to work.

I was doing electrical work in the field at the time, so there was a lot of construction noise echoing through the facilty.

Not the best hangover atmosphere.

Anyway, I get myself all layed out on what I needed to be doing and I lose it because my tools were gone.

I then proceeded to cuss everyone in the building one at a time, just in case one of them was the cocksucker that stole my tools.

After several threats of asswhoopings which I totally deserved (a common theme in some of my stories), I discover my tools were right where they were supposed to be.

I go nuts and I'm making rounds again to go find out who was hiding my tools from me.

I get stopped by the superintendant who I could tell was none too impressed with my demeanor.

He starts grilling me about being drunk and I am defending myself saying I'm not.

All the drama proved to be a little much and I decide to throw up and take a load off.

That's about the time someone volunteered to take me home.

I didn't get fired but I didn't win any medals either.

i used to work in a factory driving a forklift. one day it was really slow and the rest of the forklift drivers were on break except me. i got bored so i parked the forklift against a wall and lit the tires up for atleast 3-4 minutes straight. smoke was just dumping off the tires and i was bored so this really amused me. the supervisor saw me and said that was one of the best burnouts he ever saw but not to do it again.

Ate Xanax for the first time before a 8 hour supermarket shift (packing shelves, collecting shopping carts, etc.).

Walked into the store with my sunglasses on, feeling grooving, walk straight up to the manager take my sunglasses off in a swift motion but the Xanax has already ruined my coordination so they sunglasses go flying out of my hand and hit the boss in the face.

That was the start of one hellish shift, I tried to hide out in the bathroom for 50% of the shift... the other 50% I broke dozens of glass bottles (sauce, soda, spreads, whatever), keep walking directly into customers, even walked into an area with those "CAUTION, WET FLOOR" signs and ended up directy on my ass in front of like 50 people.

Total failure.

Don't take benzos before manual labour.

Driving a small truck and trailer for this company. Decided it would be funny to hit this cone on the side of the road with the fender....so im closing in on it.... and boooom the whole fucking fender flies up in the air. The cone had concrete inside it. Of course im telling the people in the truck to tell the boss it was an accident but they ratted me out.

Or pulling a 55 gallon drum of glue off with a forklift. Just by the sides of the barrel. Once it got off the top of the truck it was about 7 feet in the air.....  boooooom hits the ground and glue is everywhere...... fucking disaster.... 55 gallons of glue:hehehe:
