Water droplets on casing surface.

The armadillo said he has some casing in a clear fruiting chamber that have very fine drops of water sitting on the surface. The water doesn't seem to ever soak into the casings-which have been in the fruiting chamber @ 70-75Ffor 14-15 days. The chamber has perlite and water, he recently added an airpump bubbler, and the corner ofthe chamber is left propped open 1/2inch. 2 of the 3 casings have pins, but nothing else, the other casing in there is starting to show primordia. Could the water droplets cause a delay in fruiting? He doesn't think he has overlay-but he's new at this.

Just dab it with a clean paper towel. I don't think that drops of water are all that harmless, but they can (it may be a stretch) become a vector for contams.

Huh?? So it's a bad thing. The dillo said that the primordia did finally start, but he is still concerned that the water doesn't soak in. Should he take it off? The chamber is fanned several times a day by moving the lid up and down. There are also several cakes in there due to lack of space, and they're doing fine, no droplets of water collecting on them.

I just meant that it wasn't the end of the world. If the drops persist I would dry them up.
