Would you say Mushrooms are Gay or Lesbian?

Mushrooms don't have two sexes, it is same sex procreation. "Hetero" means different and "Homo" means same. Obviously in human terms they are procreating homosexually, but would that be gay or lesbian?  Is a shroom a He or a She?

If I look at it, mycelium grows these big phallic organs which spread a kind of sperm into the environment (as opposed to females growing offspring within their bodies) and this sperm interacts outside the body to produce offspring. They don't give birth, they just grow big and squirt and let Nature sort it out.

To me, thats male, thereby mushrooms are gay.

Whats your opinion?

Its not stupid at all. Do mushrooms translate to you as males or females?  Thats a valid question, and since its same sex reproduction, the rest is pure logic.

Think about it. Mushrooms aren't like a dick, they're much more like an ovary. They grow and produce all of these little eggs that are then sent into the environment. It is the conditions that cause them to become "fertilized".

If you have a bunch of eggs that sit around they will do nothing. You guys comparing spores to sperm is completely wrong. The spores do nothing but sit there waiting for something to make them grow. Sperm actively seeks out its target.

You're all just confusing the shape of some mushrooms with a penis because that's all you think about. What about puff ball mushrooms? They look much more like an ovary than a cock.
