why is notre dame ranked #18?

they were unranked after winning only 5 games last year. they beat nevada for their first game this year, and now they're #18? bcs bullshit.

edit: i hope michigan kicks their fucking ass.

this has been a pretty sweet game. Notre Dame has a clear advantage at the WR vs our CB's

But ive been pretty pleased with the Michigan play calling so far. Excellent game

I agree about Robinson, though. He either needs to play wildcat with Forcier or be allowed to pass the ball. Everyone knows he's going to run while he's in.

me too. i cant stand usc. i don't care for ohio st. but they're more tolerable than usc.

i was talking to my dad about it, and i have to agree with what he said: "i wish they could both lose". :lol:

It's just a shame to see a once powerful team reduced to this. I'm not now, or ever was, an Irish fan but IMO college football is at it's best when perennial favorites are at least relevant in the title discussion. It makes the underdog story just that more interesting, to me anyways.

While the Irish may have lost to Michigan, I'm surprised how much better they look this year than last.

I agree, but I think it should be noted that other than Warren, Michigan's DB's are fucking terrible.

So far they do look much improved. I just wish they never got in this position in the first place. I guess it's inevitable with every team though. Hope they get back in the title discussion soon.

No doubt, but Fat Charlie is killing ND.  His decisions at the end had me spitting margarita all over the place while screaming what a fat sonofabitch he was.  Make Michigan burn the timeouts at least, something.  Or at least I think Michigan had a couple timeouts on that last drive, I watched so much football this weekend all the games start to meld together into some unrecognizable dream scene of wasted time and energy.
