rofl. well when they brought up medical marijuana they sarcastically said "Oh im a straight arrow I never do that type of thing" and a few times they've mentioned how one time in the 70s they got pulled over for possession and the friend who was driving the car had the brains to have a "question authority" bumper sticker

little things like that.

Why are you taking criminal justice courses? What are you going to school for?

And I'm sure he smoked in the 70's, but that doesn't mean that he still smokes now. But if he still is blazing now-a-days, I highly doubt he'd smoke with one of his students.

Because out of any practical class i've taken (meaning not debate, philosophy etc as i cant get a job as a philosopher... easily) Law is one only subject that I've been excited about and upset when the class is over.

So I am gonna go to law school

You pretty much literally have to kill someone to get fired. It is true. You can even fuck students, as long as they don't take any of your courses again.

Not really, no.

Sometimes the tenure-track can take 6 years, and a course can be taught god-knows how many times a semester, every semester.


Fuck it, just ask. Worst thing you get is a no.

I can really think of only two professors I'd ask to smoke, and I've known both for nearly six years... and they've been incredibly influential in my life. One I might not even bother with asking.

Even if I knew another professor smoked and we knew each other on a semi-personal level, I still wouldn't ask.

I thought it was clear that I was sort of joking and wasn't actually gonna pursue it.

If I was actually going to, I'd say for the novelty of it. Crossing a boundary like that seems interesting.

edit: oh but they've been teaching here at least 10 years
