A sheeple post about consumerism.  Wow, didn't expect that here.

Why don't you join the rest of the herd living out of tents and graze elsewhere if you don't like it?

Take away all the unnecessary sales of "fluff" and that shit would crumble anyway.

Walk in to Walmart and tell me how much of the shit on the shelves is necessary?

Walk in to the grocery store and tell how much of the shit is necessary.

Walk down the street and tell me how much of the shit is necessary?

What a weird fucking world you humans have created. It's time to evolve - put down the Butterfinger and open your eyes.

:stonedjerk:

FAKE.

And why exactly should people limit their desires to the bare necessities?

Hey OP: Read "Island" by Aldous Huxley.

Things arent on the shelves because they are "necessary", but because people like a small degree of luxury. I don't need a TV (or a computer for that matter!) but it sure is nice to have one.

Hell yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing it.

Read up on human nutritional requirements, then walk into a supermarket and look at the stuff offered. Really, 90% of whats sold is BAD for you.

Put on a blindfold and go shopping in the supermarket indiscriminately. 9 out of ten items are either fattening, give you acid or gas or all three.

Small wonder obesity and diabetes are such huge problems nowadays, when almost all the food is fattening, and the fattening food often is most attractive and cheap in price.

Take a random street and add up the value of the parked cars there when bought new.  Millions of dollars, utterly wasted.

People may argue you are free to choose - yeah but people who DO choose end up fat and over their ears in debt.

The implied "good choices" of society are wrong, therefore many people end up taking the wrong choices.

Nothing is really necessary.  If you weren't a consumerist whore you'd let yourself starve to death unless someone gives you food because you don't even need life.

This is a testament to our society - that the things necessary for human survival are so very plentiful we can have such luxuries.

Do you deserve to buy fattening foods and gas guzzling cars? Fuck no. Its not even what you would want in a healthy society.

Do you deserve a car that does 6 miles per gallon in a world where a billion people don't have access to clean drinking water in a range of six miles, don't have enough food to eat nor money for fuel to cook it on?

FUCK NO you capitalist resources hog!

There isnt 1 fucking car you can go buy that gets 6 mpg.  You fucking stupid.

Your too dumb to realize that we are helping out those third world countries with all that "fluff" you see at walmart.  Cause we pay them to make the shit.  You knowhow much money other countries who need the help would suffer if you took that all out.

Yall do understand it doesn't really matter what you eat for the most part. As long as your burning more calories than you consume and eat somewhat healthy you will be fine.  My friends makes a shit load of money training people.  He fights and Guy Mesler is his teacher.  The dude eats what he wants and when he wants, still only got 4% body fat and can still run a sub 5 min mile like we use to in HS.  Go fucking run and work out and you can eat fast food your whole life.  May need to take supplements but you wont get diabetes or obese.

I should've added "stereotypical" to that. I don't have to ask what country you are from, you're an American.

The "weak" must go extinct, referring to the third world?

If you want darwinism, your type of misinformed ignorance is next on the evolutionary chopping block.

Ever heard of food additives, nutrient depleted foods, residues, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup and whatnot?

Peak Oil? Resources depletion?  I'm sure thats all nonsense to you.
