The Hubble Ultra Deep Field >IN 3D<

I realize this video has been posted before, and I'd like to believe everyone has seen it by now, but you'd be surprised how many people don't know what the Hubble Deep Field is.

This one is in 3D

So. fucking. humbling.




Insignificant... that's the word I come up with after watching this

The Hubble Deep Field is easily the most significant work of imaging in the history of the world.  I have several high res images stored on my computer that I like to stare at when I need to think.

I had no idea someone had turned this into 3D imaging though, so I thank you a lot (thank god for repeat posting).

Cool! I've always loved the ultra deep field picture. It is something that everyone on the planet can appreciate.

Here is a video similar to nightowl's...It shows the same thing but in a slightly different approach.



Truly a humbling and awe-inspiring experience...
