Yea, the hash bar isn't even the whole place. They have a whole dispensary there too, with couches and bong and weed galore. All the employees are really friendly and knowledgeable(which most dispensary employees are not).

when trying to research medical marijuana in my state, the only information I can find is about narc's and long jail time. Not only that, we go through dry spells where practically nobody can get any. Also 2nd possession is a felony. :drgonz:

it does have medicinal qualities, but it needs to be treated like a legal rec drug in this country, like cigs and alcohol: regulated, taxed, and legal.

the whole "medicinal" angle has just lead to the pharma companies creating it synthetically to Rx to AIDS patients, etc (and make some money)
while still keeping it illegal to possess for the majority of users, who use recreationally.

we just have a broad spectrum of use here. you can get a card for any ailment you feel it helps you with. Its not your standard prescription drug, it shouldnt be treated as such IMO.

yeah, i have gleaned that from Coasters posts :grin:

I live in CO, we have medicinal card option, but from what I understand, its much more difficult to get
a card than in Cal. Plus I also here that the quality is less than Cal's, and certainly less than what can be found on the black market.

when I saw the pics of that place I thought of it was slightly hypocritical to ingest mj in a social "recreational" bar like atmosphere when its (wink wink) Rx's like a medicine.

where's the xanax "bar"? complete w/ couches wall to wall?

Shit I live in LA.  Ive always been so tempted to hit up some whore doc and pay him to prescribe me weed.  However Ive been concerned that if I try to get a job that will somehow show up in a background search.  Do you know if you have to register with the state or any bullshit like that?  Or is it literally just a prescription that only your doctor knows about

to get a card you have to register with the state ID program, but a rec can be medicaly confidential. some places wont let you in without a card though.
