The rest of the community doesn't respect you.  You come across as 15 and/or girls and no one takes you seriously.

It's "mushrooms", not "mushies".  If I ever hear someone say "mushies" IRL they're getting slapped.

Where I'm from mushies is the common term. No one says Shrooms or Mushrooms.

I often refer to them by type; such as "cubes" "azures" "cyans" "pans" "trops" "subs" and the like.

Of course this can lead to confusion as I could be describing several mushrooms, but less than the umbrella term of "mushies".
