im going to attempt to make my [ex]manager cry today

this asshole has fucked with me too much.

first, ill describe him. hes 26, tall, skinny, has glasses, nerdy as FUCK, and has no friends, or people skills.

i started working there and it wasnt bad. for the first day... so he starts coming over to me whenever im doing something, and take over and tell me how to do it. the whole time he talks to me like a retarded or 6 years old... he kept doing this all day every day i worked there. and i can only put up with a very small amount of that shit. i never flipped out on him or anything, whenever i would get pissed i would just shut the fuck up and not say anything, basically ignore him, but do what he wants. i mean, i was working there, i had to do it.

when i started i was working about 20 hours a week. then i go in to check the schedule and this fucker dropped me to 3 hours for the whole week. so i went and asked him before he made the schedule if i could get a few more hours than i had for the previous week and he said "sure ill see what i can do."

i go and check the new schedule the next day. 3 fucking hours again. WTF!! im on probation and i need the hours i need.. 3 hours wont fly for my PO and im not gettin locked up for this fuckface. so i go in again and ask him very nicely for some more hours. he said sure, go back and check and i have NO hours at all. so you could guess, i was fucking pissed.

i think i asked for more hours AGAIN after that and he said the same shit. go back, NOTHING. no hours. then i go back the week after that, and my name isnt even on the schedule. what a fucking asshole. he doesnt even have the balls to fire me or anything. so as far as i know i still work there. i want to go in there today and fuck with him. break him down psychologically. hopefully there will be customers there. 2 of my friends work there too so they might get lucky and see it too if they happen to be working.

ill try not to make this post too long cause i know most people wont read it, but i thought id throw this out there. after i saw my name taken off the schedule, i just went around to restaurants to apply as a dishwasher. i dont mind washing dishes at all. i actually prefer it. its kind of a zen thing... anyway, the third place i got an application at happened to be hiring for dishwashers, and i have plenty of experience. went in for an interview, and got it right away! fuckin 9 bucks an hour to wash dishes, ill have a set schedule every week so ill always get the hours i need, ill get benefits, and if i want to move up and prep or cook, they dont have a problem with it.

so, in the end, im happy. no more fuckin douche bag manager, no more shitty work environment, no more worrying about the PO (except for my dirty piss) i got the best paying job ive ever had and im fuckin washing dishes! lmao

If you hussell in a resturaunt, you can move up fast.

Don't stand around waiting on dishes,

go out and bus tables.

It might help if you look clean-cut, if you're not already.

You can become a server.

i hate people. thats why i like washing dishes. i just go in, stand there alone, i can listen to my ipod and do my thing without people fuckin with me that often.

thats exactly what im doing tonight lol my bosses are fucking awesome i smoke weed with them and we do whippits in the back.  Free food. Listen to my ipod.  i determine my own breaks.

Dude, is dealing with people so bad that you would choose to take 1/3 of the pay you could make?

I used to wait tables.

I leaned more towards the coctail side of the resturant I worked in.

Drunk people are fun to serve.

They tip better too.

idk, i have a short temper at times. i have extreme anxiety and have a lot of panic attacks in social situations. the best thing that would fit me is washing dishes. maybe after a while if i feel comfortable doing it, ill serve. id rather prep food though. :shrug:
