I think there is a great possibility of it being real.

If for several years of your life, all you do in general is play World of Warcraft, leaving it will have an affect.
World of Warcraft is a very complex game consisting of many technicalities involving gameplay, combined with social interaction. Due to the SHEER MOUNT of Associations and Habits formed with this game over time, severing connection with it could feel like a little death to someone.

Gone is the repetition of mouse-clicking, the eye-movements that are trained to recognize changes in statistics you build attachments to.
(Isn't weird you can BE attached to statistics?) Gone is the reliance of talking to your other game mates, gone is the language you use to talk about the game, which would be only spoken about at full semantic ability during play.

So these these attachments and associations develop and honed immediatley start to lose context without the game, and something without context is frightening; Surreal even, which can be UNNERVING.
To the point of freakouts for some people.

So, I can believe this. I have freaed out physically myself in small ways, but nothing like that, but it did involve loss. Loss is hard to deal with (Like death of a love one, the person no longer there to mirror your associations, death is a fading context)

BUT
Mostly I consider people addicted to video games Degenerates, double for that kid. Live REAL life, THEN talk about it on a Forum. Don't talk about your fake life on a forum. You just lost. Go do some drugs or something.

It was too disturbing for me to laugh, fake or not.

I don't know if that's real or not though. I would believe it if it weren't for the brother's perfect timing.


I've seen my sister do shit like that before when she was younger and used to throw these insane tantrums.

Yeah, he might not have noticed the camera if the kid just stuck it on his dresser or something.

And if it were fake...wouldn't he have exaggerated more? He slowed down at the end and even though he went nuts, it wasn't TOO out there.

- Older bro hears brother flipping out while arguing with his mom or something
- Grabs camera, turns it on, runs into room and sets it in there
- While exiting, brother comes in and says "GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" while too fired up to notice what he was doing while in there
- Proceeds to throw tantrum
- Older bro runs in after little bro exits and grabs the camera

Plausible... good timing doesn't always automatically make something fake. :shrug:

I can definetly see that being real especially since my little brother used to do things like that. But yeah, like everyone is saying the timing is perfect. When I videotaped my brother having a fit a couple years ago he was still freaking out and mainly because I was videotaping him. You'd think the brother would se him grab the video camera after he left but who knows
