Also reppin the DFW here, unfortunately. Wow, there ARE a lotta Texans...maybe we should arrange a shroomery texas meet...

DFW here as well and I have never seen a Texas meet work. Lots have tried but they all seem to fall apart.

BTW, I have found lots of patches of Boletes Mushrooms around DFW, Last year I collected over 30 lbs of them. As well as lots of other Wild mushrooms.

Yeah, I hear tons of stories about wild patches, we chased one for 3 hours one night before the guy telling us about it mentioned they might have already picked it clean (this was out in Rockwall) so that was fun. I have yet to pick/eat and wild mush yet...

Also, I have yet to find LSD around here...you had any luck there?

The only place I stayed in Texas was DFW. It was the most miserable place I've ever been, save New Jersey.

Everything is over rated to someone. But if you live in texas and you're on shroomery, austin probably seems better than the rest of texas if you're a pot smoking mushroom eating social person and enjoy less retarded laws, which probably includes most non retarded young people in texas.
Other than that, I don't know what's good about austin. I guess the people there are more friendly than many other cities. But I enjoy wilderness the most, and texas has plenty of that.

Houston used to have some cool parties back in early 2k. Then it got too popular with transit over at the dome, and channel 2 started reporting on the stupid e-tards getting wasted and raped. It was all downhill after that.


Then for a while, it tried to go the club route, but that shit gets played out, for real. I don't want to get all dressed up just to meet people. I'm too old and lazy for that shit. I want to be able to wear some camo shorts and a t-shirt.
