The dealer even says it heroin, he says something like "coke is dead heroin is back" or "coming back" something like that.  Even then it should have been obvious.

it's a legit medical procedure but it's generally only done as a super last resort.  aka never works.

It's never really explicit about what the substance is in Requiem, I don't think. I suspect it was supposed to be heroin however his pupils dilate when he shoots up so that puts that into question (unless the makers just didn't know their shit).

My girl and I were just watching Pulp Fiction, she asked the question too at first. We still have to finish it, its a bit long for her liking!

It was the first thing I thought of after reading your post, and reading through the responses I saw someone had said it, and I figured that by quoting them I could just click and wouldn't have to type anything.

Now that you've made me type a response though-  that ketamine must be rotting your mind.  Its painfully obvious through Pulp Fiction that Vincent Vega is using heroin.
