Am I an asshole?

I just broke up with my gf over myspace because she stopped putting out.


The story is: I met this girl over the internet, we hung out a few times and when I tried to make a move she said she didn't have sex with anyone she wasn't dating, so of course I asked her out.

She was alright to be around but I soon realized we didn't have any of the same interests and she just bitched about her life to me whenever I saw her. I only put up with this because she was a nymph, which is probably the only way she ever got guys to hang out with her in the first place.

Fast forward a few months, we started having sex less and less, maybe once every 2-3 weeks but she started getting really clingy, saying she had to talk to me on the phone before she went to sleep and shit. Well I finally got sick of it and just changed my relationship status to 'single,' and plan on not answering the phone.

Is this a bad way to handle the situation?
Am I an asshole? The way I see it, yes I used her for sex but she used me emotionally as someone to listen to her bitching for months.

you seriously need to tell her its over. cant u imagine how upset she'l be? fair enough ur sayig she used u emotionally, but just have some respect for her even so - she obviously trusted u. its really harsh to just change ur status especially as uve been 'together' for some months, its not like it was a couple of weeks. its only one phone call and a couple of minutes of your life isnt it. plus if she knows anyone u know, ul get a shit reputation for it.
