Haha, man i'm filling my lungs to full capacity. When i take a hit i leave just enough room in my lungs so i can take one last breath to get the smoke down into my lungs, otherwise that last bit of smoke just sits in parts of your throat. If i do end up taking to large of a hit where i can't get that last breath in, i will exhale a bit of smoke out then inhale the smoke back in deep.

Just like you have a solid strategy with your pipe and not coughing, i have got a solid strategy of not coughing ....

For me bongs and joints are the smoothest, and i would say blunts are the ones that agitate my throat sometimes...Guessing from the tobacco wrap.
