Thats what I think too. I powder em and mix them into a cup of juice. As long as they are properly powdered they mix up and go down well.

Not really.  I'm sure some small percentage is lost, but I've never been disappointed with the doses I weigh out.

Plus it helps with nausea a lot.  It's not really a problem for me, but a lot of people get sick on mushrooms and not having to consume the fibrous stuff really helps the ole belly.

Plus, when I eat mushrooms I have to take a wicked squirty poop the next day, and that never happens with tea.

I think that the thread that said there is that much more actives in caps than stems is really misinformed.

Ya, there is more in the caps, but not nearly 30%.  I think its more along the lines of 2%.

Did i make that topic? I don't think i would have said that caps are more potent.  But if i did, my mistake.  I really have no idea, and would think that would be my response.

i agree,if you lightly blange them gently and make a warm hot chocolate from the drained juice it feels like you start tripping as soon as you swollow a cup full

it went straight from my tongue to my toes then worked its way up my legs and hit my head when we had it like that and tripped balls

same as dry powdered,you trip hard if you have too much

Yeah, I crushed em up and swallowed em with a bit of Gatorade to help with the dryness. got a couple stems out to chew on as well.

Blast off in about an hour or so.

at a guess i'd say theyre as healthy as any vegetable or edible shroom physically and mentally

Yeah, I'm feeling it now I think, just smoked a bowl and I feel...odd..

Caught a honey bee that was thawing out and brought it inside to play with while tripping. I'll let him go tomorrow when it's nice out so he can gather nectar from all the flowers, he'd get blown away today.

I wonder if tea really lowers potency, because psilocybin is a stable molecule (compared to LSD at least). However, as with any type of extraction, not all of it can transfer to the tea.

ya and then there was studys proving other wise, man you cant believe everything you read, even if it is a "study".There was a recent study that shows 66% of statistics are made up as well. its just safe to say its all the same shit.

True, I was only pointing out that I too have found resources that proved otherwise, I didn't know whether to believe it or not, I just like eating caps cause they look cool.

You can do it real quick, and you don't have to actually eat the mushrooms, so you don't ingest a lot of what causes nausea and squirt poops.

There is without a doubt SOME potency loss, but I think it's effect is negligible.  I don't dose myself any higher than I would with dry shrooms when I make tea.

And trancedshroom, I think you may be right.  I pulled that number out of my ass, I just remember it being very low.

when dividing dry shrooms you could make a tea and drink the part you want (say 1/8) and freeze the rest for later (in usable parts)
