Cops cracking down on drugs in my town- fucking cops have nothing better to do

good thing I am on tolerance break and I have not bought drugs in my area in around a year, but this is  a lame thing to be hearing.  fucking cops..... good things I am on t-break so I wont be driving with ganja anyway...........

Just in case they somehow find me, do they have the right to search my house or anything like that, or should I be fine?

I am not worried because I really have not been apart of my local drug scene, but it helps to know what rights the asshole popos have..........

I am posting this anon just cause I would rather not have my screen name written with this post cause the douche's can put 2 and 2 together that way.........supposedly they are cracking down mainly on weed.......

seriously though: why the fuck is it any of their goddamn business that a few people smoke in the privacy of their own home WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't have the right to search your home unless they have a warrant and they don't have a right to search your car unless you give them permission.

Do you live in a small town? I'm in a tiny ass town and the country bumpkin cops have nothing better to do then bust underage drinking and weed too. :thumbdown:

yea y0. small town. this is a good example of why the war on drugs needs to be stopped. what else can free spirited people do in small towns other then smoke weed sometimes. fucking cops disgust me....... I will make sure not to drive with any drugs for a while.......... although I have never been stopped other then that time I ran a red last second.....

They can enter your car or home with "probable cause" which in this case means bongs/rolling papers/paraphernalia left in plain view, or the smell of weed. Tell your friends that if they want to smoke they should do it on the second floor.

That is a good idea, but I live in a small town and I wouldn't want to give myself away + I don't plan on living here- once I am financially independent I am getting the fuck out of here asap

You could just e-mail them. It wonuldn't hurt you to do that, if not for yourself, then for the rest of the people in that community.

I gotta be honest, but I am considering this- but I fear that they may track my I.P. or something- this really is a small town + they can link my email to my shroomery name or something- maybe I am being paranoid, but I prefer to play it safe then be sorry, although I am tempted, because it would certainly be interesting to hear how they would respond to an honest letter about drug policy--- and also they may find the e-mail suspicion considering this indecent happened recently and they are trying to bust people..........cops aren't always for the people

Put your tin foil hat on and lock the door.  I hear if you know how to play the microwave in 3/5 you can ward off any male cops.......to barricade yourself against female cops put a huge titantron screen in front of your house and play every jeopardy episode from the 80's to now.

I just have weed and some other stuff.  It just disturbed when I heard about the dude getting caught with weed and cops trying to get info out of him....... but I don't even get my drugs locally so I am not worried in the slightest :wink: guess this thread was really more of a war on drugs rant, and I am seeing how this drug war can really effect innocent individuals- but for all I know, maybe the cops are just trying to find the dealers- haven't heard anything recent

Cops always try to get info from people they bust with drugs.  They get lucky all the time with people ratting on others thinking that cops will let them go and shit.

Fucked up, but its the truth.  I wouldn't worry unless you supply the person that got caught with drugs.
