Getting checked for STDs

How many of you actually get tested for STDs at least twice a year? I'm of the persuasion that i'd rather not know if i did have one, but i probably don't b/c things tend to work out for me.

I understand that this is considered socially irresponsible, but i doubt i'm alone. Also, how many of you would continue having meaningless sex with people if you knew you had an STD? would you tell them?

If left untreated, syphilis can damage the heart, aorta, brain, eyes, and bones. In some cases these effects can be fatal.Syphilis can generally be treated with antibiotics, including penicillin.

yeah but that probably takes a long time to happen. im sure i'll get tested a couple years from now. at least then i'll be like, "damn, i wonder which one i got it from," instead of "fucking stripper."

i always get tested before switching to no condoms with a partner.

not because i've had unprotected sex, but because i don't know if my previous partner cheated and brought something into the relationship

im so happy that im fucking clean... but if i wasn't i wouldn't tell anyone i was with unless it was really bad lol, but then again i dont have unprotected sex with randoms

hell yea i get checked before i go out with anyone i just donate blood and and by the next week or so with the blood shortage and all, if im good to go im good to go you have to get that checked anyway i dont see why you wouldnt go through them, pluus herpe's is madd fuckked up for girls i mean my dick or lips rotting off would make me kill a bitch but imagine if you let a girl wop you off or worse

I've only been tested once cause it was the only time I thought I should be nervous that maybe I came into contact with something, but all was good. 

I would NOT fuck random people, there is no way that I wouldn't tell someone about it either, thats just fucked up :crankey:

My ex-fiance cheated on me with three dumb sluts.  For the next 2 years I had regular testing done for AIDS and STDS.  AIDS can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to appear in your system, so getting tested once after you fuck up might not be enough.

I'm still nervous and when I go for my annual physical, I always ask to be checked.  I fucking hate that bastard.
