I'm getting sick of Trey Parkers voice for every fucking character in south park. They should rename it the "I'M TREY PARKER AND THIS IS MY SHOW, and Matt Stone is in it a bit to - Park".

Just drag some bums off of the street already. Give them some soup, a banana, crack cocaine and a script.

I know who both of them are on the boards and they do post here.  I don't think they know I know, but they're OTDers and post a lot, on the occasions that they post.

So look for the OTDers that aren't around much but post a lot.

BTW this sucks because now Scott Bennett is actually cooler than most of us because none of US have ever had a SP episode mention US.

the reason they can't thank the boards is because of the same reason that you sometimes see the disclaimer "any resemblance to persons or events is purely coincidental and not intentional." i.e., SP's network is afraid Ythan would sue them for his cut if they acknowledged that anything he owns inspired any idea that wound up in an episode.

IT wouldn't surprise me if they post in here. The Vampire school kid episode could of been based on here when we were trolling that vampire site. That episode really did seem to capture the mentality of the people on that site per say.

lol at comedy central is worried YTHAN will sue for his cut lol.  Do you know how much fucking money comedy central has to be making?  Do you realy think they would even be out anything even if he did sue?  Get real douchebag, the only people insisting that matt and trey post here and the ones who have no actual life other than the shroomery so they wnat to feel a sense of importance.  Those guys are a lot more clever than probably anyone on this site so stfu about they get their material from here.

It's not possible to post evidence that no other forum came up with the CP motif before the shroomery. What sort of proof are you looking for? Complete transcripts of every internet forum ever created?

If you believe that the idea originated somewhere else earlier, then post sources.

The early CP antics on the Shroomery are well-known (trolling teen help forums and papaver's fake erowid page). Unless an earlier instance can be substantiated, then that claim will continue to stand.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Matt or Trey posted here. It's not unreasonable to suspect that Major Boobage was inspired by the shroomery. And that vampire episode was pretty timely, considering the recent trolling of the vamp board.

I think its overrated and I've never really liked it. The only one I ever catch is that one with the giant fucking snake thing (the "firework") thats eating up the world because its so big.

Nope, the CP (cat piss) is a Shroomery original.  I don't remember who started it, but Papaver formalized it with a mock erowid page (5-MeO-W).

Here is the oldest post that we still have about it... https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/99188#99188 from back in 2000.  This was posted well after the joke had taken off and gone 'viral':

Since the original CP joke started on a previous version of the forum which no longer exists, you will have to trust those of that remember it for the history.  Basically, a couple of people were joking about the "me too, me too" posts that start up after somebody mentions a trip or a drug.  They decided to make up a drug and see how many "me too, me too" posts they would get.  Cat piss was chosen as the drug, and the rest is history...
