Hamas uncovers PA, CIA intel trove
PressTV - Hamas has uncovered a trove of thousands of documents, including classified correspondence with Israeli forces.

After seizing the Palestinian Authority's Security headquarters in Gaza City on Thursday afternoon, Hamas fighters report they have seized tens of thousands of sensitive intelligence documents, including correspondence between the PA, the American CIA, and the Zionists regarding security issues. Hamas officials said the newly found information would help them battle the Israeli regime's surveillance tactics.

A Hamas member said he and his men removed thousands of documents, video tapes and equipment from the compound. "I saw my name appeared at least four times in the intelligence documents - related to attempts to take me out. I saw details of surveillance against me and joint Fatah-Israeli plans to thwart our operations."

"If we release these documents, the entire world will be shocked, not just the Palestinians. The dozens of armored vehicles, RPG launchers and rockets, the hundreds of thousands of bullets we have - they are all nothing compared to the documents and data discs we uncovered."

"There are video tapes of surveillance against our fighters and their homes, wiretaps on our calls, the PA's entire method of operation has been exposed," he said.

The Hamas man said that the documents also implicate several Arab nations of involvement in the internal Palestinian power-struggle in an attempt to impair Hamas.

According to the Hamas source the papers also document the PA's cooperation with the CIA against Palestinian organizations, especially Hamas.

Releasing the documents would entail the approval of the Hamas leadership, said the Hamas source, noting that the documents would be used to prove the justness of Hamas' fight against the Palestinian security forces.

They've been executing people left and right in Gaza, the whole situation is melting down into a civil war, and in the West Bank fatah has holed up Hamas and is about to liquidate their supporters, their is a flood of refugees who cant escape and a growing humanitarian issue, This needs to be solved immediately before it entangles other mid-east countries.

... but first, we have to learn how to forge them.  See, if we really had anything to release, we would have, because shocking the world is what we do best.

Not for nothing but, "What the fuck are they talking about?" The only people this could possibly damage is Fatah and the PA, Hamas's partners in government. As to this:

Well, you're a little late in noticing that the Palestinians have been in a civil war for a few months and that it is divided geographically, with the Jordanian West Bank going secular (relatively) and the Gaza going Islamist. And for some odd reason you had nothing to say when the Hamassholes were executing PA security forces in Gaza last week. That seems a tad strange.

Oddly enough, where did the Gazan refugees flee? Hold your breath, Israel. That's right, when the animals they elected found the keys to the cage the poor poor people had nowhere to turn but the land of Satan. I have yet to hear of any refugees from the West Bank, but perhaps you can supply us all with a link. Thank you in advance.

Interesting how the west tells them "hold elections if you want to continue getting our aid", so they hold elections, and then the west tells them, "woah, we don't like who you elected, so we are going to cut off all our aid". I'm still trying to figure out why we give them aid... I guess we like a harder fight, or something. *shrug*

Listen, the deal is you should have to do both, have elections AND be friendly, or at least reasonable, to get aid.

Hmmm, look at my post last week and read it, In no way do I symapthize with Hamas, or Fatah which has equally launched attacks on Israeli interests, the difference between Fatah and Hamas is Hamas is a salafist group with a extreme interpretation of Islam, the palestinians have always enjoyed a secular life unlike most arabic countries.

Fatah is incredibly corrupt and the PA had been grafting PA funds and UN Charity for years, No sympathy for the devil, Fatah or Hamas, but I do have sympathy for the poor non-combatants who deal with this fighting.

Definitely plausible, especially in hopes of distancing palestinians from Fatah.

I will believe you if you tell me you wrote about this situation last week but come on, do you really expect me to have remembered it? And excuse me if I have mistakenly gotten the impression from this post that you are somehow carrying Hamas's water a bit here. I am fully aware that Fatah are a bunch of corrupt turds. That's why they lost the election, although they still retained some share of power. But in a room full of turds the Hamassholes stink just a bit more as murderers first. Fatah were thieves first, murderers secondary to their thievery. Picking one as less despicable than the other is like choosing between eating Rosie O'Donnel's or a water buffalo's pussy.

Sorry to jump your ass though about the last comment, but heres the thread I was referring too.

When you see events like these, you see destablization of other countries and regions, like a dominoe effect.

I think you're right about the neighboring Arabs picking sides. We and Israel seem to be picking sides too. Then there is what Syria and Iran are doing in Lebanon. The whole area is a monstrous clusterfuck and has been for millennia. But don't forget the positives that have happened in my lifetime. Jordan is not a cesspool of hatred. Egypt, though not great, is nowhere near the leader of the hate brigade it once was. Iran has taken over that mantle. Too bad the shah isn't there any more. Kuwait loves us and behaves itself. Saudi Arabia's government is sane. Unfortunately, their people are not. Iraq is much improved, with potential for more.

It is, like the rest of the world, a work in progress.
