I'm Gettin followed by crack heads

So I went to circle K for some beer (got me an 18 pack btw)...

On my way home, this guy riding a bike is behind me...I realized that he wasn't cycling as fast as other people do. Something is up.

I turn the corner on my street, then he goes pedaling furiously past me up ahead... he gets to the part of the street thats dark and I hear the bike slow down, then I see it turn around (reflections). I start walking slow and he comes pedaling towards me acting all nonchalant and shit.

I get to my gate, open it and shut...but I stay where I am, as soon as I shut it, his head turns arounds and Im looking right at him. He see's me and takes off like a bat out of hell.

WTF?

I mean to say that I realized he is cycling slower than normal. Slow enough for someone to walk beside him.

I've noticed that most people on bikes cycle maybe 2-3 times faster than someone walks, they usually have somewhere to go

...he should've passed me by the time I went past 3 houses, he stayed the same distance behind.

shit, make sure you always carry a weapon. Any responsible person should be prepared to defend themself.
Like i was watching the new hitch hiker horror movie last night (sucked), and the whole time the dude is anhialating people with a fucking knife. A knife is something anybody can carry, and if you are being threatened with anything short of a gun, than you can usually scare someone off with it at least.

I feel nekid if i don't have a pocket knife on me these days.
I used one to ward off an attack not to long ago.
Wish i wasn't a felon, so i could carry a pistol. I think i'm gonna buy something for the house soon tho.

yep, got woken up jan 15th 2001 by 2 dudes who got me on a plane and shipped me to texas for a month, then to mexico for 7 more... finally left homeless on the beach.

my parents hired em actually, to ship me off to rehab for my marijuana habbit... however when they snatched me up out of my house, i didnt know what the fuck was going on...

To all you carry a weapon people, you're more likely to be hurt with your own weapon than any other.

This is especially true with a gun. I heard something like 50+% of cops that are shot are shot using their own gun.

Its true, and i know this fact, and believe it.
But i personally am never going to be a victim. I'm never going to be put in a situation where i, or anyone i'm around is at the mercy of someone threatening a life.
I'd like to think that i would never accidentally maime a family member who wakes me up in the middle of the night, or go out and kill somebody out of anger. But, who knows.

Right, the weapon is more of a false confidence, i would love to train in some martial arts, and be confident without feeling the need to cary a knife everywhere.
I even signed up for kung fu classes, and went to one, but i lost my job right after, and couldn't afford to. That shits expensive.

I dont know about the cop stat. But the one where you are more likely to shoot your self or family member with your own gun is wrong.They included suicides into those numbers.Just like pot studies can be biased so can gun ones.

The cop one is actually the statistic I'm more sure of. Came right from a Criminology professor who is one of the most intelligent men I've ever had the pleasure of taking classes with.

A gun gets pulled on me within 5 feet and somebody will have a broken arm and a bruised ego.

Further away and they've got a pretty good chance :tongue:

I would like to learn some sort of style.
I like getting in fights, it's fun, unfortunately some people don't know when to stop so I'm apprehensive to do it too often in case I end up being the loser and getting fucked up more than I should if it were fair, or getting jumped by some pussies.

And that's why I want to get into fighting in a gym.
Too bad I'm a fat lazy piece of shit and would get torn up. I need to start running/lifting. All I have going for me is somewhat of a high pain tolerance. (Cement jaw, that a term? Like opposite of glass jaw?)

Personally I prefer to always to carry something whether it's a knife, spikes, Rarely rarely I ever have any throwing knives or stars. And my gun almost always if I'm close to home or not driving.

And I understand if some people don't feel comfortable with weapons and that's ok. Me personally I've taken 6 years of Shorin-Ryu, 2 of which were weapons training. 1 year of kendo, and half year of IAI. And I still choose to carry a concealed weapon. But then again it's Florida, everyone here has something

That's basically what all my friends said, word for word. I got fed up trying to drag them out to work out or train with me, so I just went to meet some new people and got involved with a sweet training group.

Haha, nah, I get what you're saying. Shit, most people say shit like that. I wish I could get motivated to do it, I think hittin' a gym would be fun, even if it was just the local boxing place back home. I had to do a fuckton of community service hours there two years ago so I'm real cool with the people who run it, so that would be a good time.

Yeah, it's better to learn everything and be well rounded.

Wrestling, Sambo, Judo, BJJ, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, work all that shit.

Most training centers have MMA training these days. (A combination of all)

definately from what you learn some better than others, just for the fact some teachings are limited.

I do gotta hand it to them, brazilians got a good grasp on the mixed martial arts circuit in sports.

But by all means just because you learn one thing from a teacher or school, doesn't mean you only have to dedicate to that. Even schools of the same branch might teach a little diffrent just because they were given knowledge and taught by different people.
