Marlins are gonna lose their best two players after this season...
    #6862476 -

I'd love to see Dontrelle land in pinstripes for sure...

but the reason I made this thread was cause of this tidbit:

Quote:
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports Florida Marlins management is not happy with a prolonged 10-minute on-field conversation between Marlins 3B Miguel Cabrera and New York Mets general manager Omar Minaya. Major-league rules prohibit conversations like this, as they are considered tampering if a player is approaching free agency.

Pretty disappointing year for D. Wright this year (dating back to when he signed his contract in August, actually...) and I wonder if the Mets wouldn't rather have Miguel Cabrera manning third base and send D. Wright elsewhere..

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

The Marlins dismantle their team every other year. It seems to be working well for them. Willis is overrated anyways.
