I'm definately a music snob by comparison.
I like alot of different stuff, but there's so much more to not like.
Imagine how many house/techno/dance/rave music is out there and NONE of it is good.

I'll agree with whoevers saying U2, I hate U2!

I can't believe someone put Social Distortion on here, what's next we'll be bagging on Johnny Cash??:bomb:

U2 blows.... although I like there early stuff up to Joshua Tree (somewhat).
The very first offspring cd (Smash) fucking rocks.
Sooo, on to the worst bands of all time.
First off, I'd like to nominate Fatboy Slim. That guy is a fucking douche and cant make anything worth while.
Second, I'd like to nominate Chevelle. That band sucked so fucking hardcore at ozzfest, they got hit with lemons, water bottles, bottles full of grass, condoms with jizz (free samples of conditioner (hair shit) that was passed out for free by the same person with the condoms).
Third, I would like to claim that Creed is one of the gayest bands ever, and happened to be lead by the gayest of all men, Scott Stapp (I think?). With arms wide open??? what a fag, he should be singing with asscheeks wide open to be more true to himself, and his fans.
Fourth.... any rap, except for some old stuff that I wont get into. Pre-1997 rap is cool (some of it). Anything after that blows, and should be considered a poison to our ears.

there is an unbelievably vast amount of bad electronic/dance/trance shit out there but aphex twin makes up for all of it. that guy is rediculously brilliant. i also think theres a difference between being a band that feels like they HAVE to be the heaviest or depress the shit out of people, and simply bands that are those things, which isnt bad.

Honestly I think Tool is horrible. I know a lot of people on here like it, I cant seem to find anything I enjoy about them. I think all of their music is extremely simple and boring. Their lyrics I find to be nothing special.
Ha Ive never been able to take NIN seriously. Everytime I listen to an album, like pretty hate machine I have to laugh at how aweful I find the sound to be. It sounds comical to me, something about it that I just cant get down with. A band I like which is supposedly also Industrial, not that I really know what Industrial means, is Cabaret Voltaire. But I mean, whatever.

Yes, the Offspring used to rock and *Smash* was their third album.

"The Offspring" was their first album and old school punk style.

"Ignition" came next and was also old school punk/nitro style.

"Smash" came after those two.

Yeah, I like social distortion. I honestly think so many bands are shitty that I could never choose one as the overall worst band ever.

I couldn't imagine someone hating Journey.  :heart:I've loved Wheel in the Sky since I was real young.

Far as younger kid bands go I'd say ICP.  :crazy: Duuuude.

I don't appreciate Cradle of Filth, Marilyn Mansion,  ACDC.

Any crazy satanic goth slit wrist bands, politically charged 3 chorded punk bands, rap gangsta music. Glad my knowledge of the modern post-grunge scene is zilch heh.
