Cakes can produce mushrooms in 5-6 weeks so it’ll be tight but doable.

Ahh. Definetly need to enter the next one. So much to learn about this process. Kid is graduating nursing school next week so that take priority.

But sounds like a better vector for cloning.

But there *will* be more war, ladies and gents, you can set your clocks to it…there is war after war after war yet to come; a way of life it may seem to the future generations of cultivators. So, join in on a future campaign, whenever you are able, as there is no end to the everlasting Cake Wars.

May we all grow our mushrooms bravely, honorably, meritoriously! Then, and only then, may we hope to return to our loved ones whole and with our heads held high, no matter of victory or defeat. But know that we shall NOT be defeated, no, not in the lifespan of one million stars!

Onward, my shroomalicious brothers and sisters, and on into the history books of tomorrow!

I have growth on 15/15 jars; all were inoculated on 4/22. My plan is to make prints of all that survive to fruiting and then distribute a spore print pack with one of each variety to every Cake Wars II participant at the conclusion. Could be a pretty nice variety pack if it goes well!

Sweet! And tbh I've never done pf tek because my pc skills are 0 it's been used 2x n both times I 100% contam fkd it for lc 1x and grains 1x for some reason my pc don't get up to 15 psi properly any tips? If u help me grow my pc tek I'll start right now I bought a bag forever ago of brf red mills n also I got some jiffy pot mix I could roll it in or I could prob chop n cold pasteurize straw :0 i rllly been wanting to try that since i was told about cold pasteuriZe tek i got a old print I could prob somehow get to work 0.0 i am fairly creative xD would it be against the rules to inoc a very small amount of grain to transfer kinda like a tiger drop! Into the pf jars? Well this my pc idk if it's me or the PC having problems ☠️. All info I will research if u provide tips :0 pls and thanks!

One of the biggest perks of the PF Tek is that you don't need a PC, you can sterilize the cakes by steaming. The tek linked at the top of the thread has more info.

@bloodsonnew, experiments have a very high failure rate just because they are experiments. For competition, its gotta be PF cakes made of brown rice flour AND vermiculite OR coir OR straw.

The best result will come from closely following the PF Tek Linked in the original post on this thread.
