I've decided to write my first trip report after tripping solo yesterday and having the most beautiful time ever. The day started out slow and lazy. I took my boo to work, came home with nothing to do and decided to go for a jog in the woods. I get back to my house rather exhausted and do some yoga in the grass. Then I think "AHA! I've still got some caps left!" (from my not so pleasant trip last week). They only weigh out to about 2 g's, I plan to use them to help me meditate and just relax, doing some yoga for a little while. I gobble them down with about half of a weed brownie just to hide the taste. From this point I spent a couple hours outside laying in the grass, closing my eyes, seeing beautiful fractals and laughing to myself.

I go inside to take a nap since I didn't get much sleep the night prior. I wrap up in a fleece blanket and lay on the family room couch, the same couch I laid on when I was a baby, the same couch that I've ALWAYS laid on. (I've lived in the same house my entire life). I lay there with my dog feeling all the warmth and beauty of everything. I felt so comfortable and felt true clarity. But wait. What about music? How could I forget about music? I NEED MUSIC! I go grab my cd cases and put in Andrew Bird, lay down and trip out for a song and then it suddenly just stops playing. I wait a long time for it to come back on, but take it as a sign that I'm not supposed to listen to that right now. So I put in The Beatles White Album (Best idea ever?).

This is where things got really good for me. I laid on that couch wrapped up in the red blanket smiling, laughing, and crying. I felt as if I was back in my mother's womb. I felt a close, intimate relationship with my house. I felt truly "at home". The most beautiful feeling in the world perhaps, home can be anything or anywhere. But for me, it is here. I thought about my mother and how much I love her, how she gave me life and nurtured me. I sobbed the most beautiful tears of my life. I didn't even realize I was crying until I touched my dripping face. I rocked back and forth feeling the comfort that I can only relate to being back in that womb. I thought about love, about how love is how I got here. Without love I would be nothing. And realizing that love really does make the world go round, that all I want to do in life is love and care for eachother. That's really all that we're here for right? To produce, nurture, and love.

I felt strange sensations in my body which got me to thinking about my woman hood. My body was made to bear children. My "purpose" in life is to have a child to protect and love (someday). Though I do love kids, I've never thought it very important to have any. I laid on the couch feeling like a little child and a mother at the same time. That is who I am. I'm a simple little child who just wants love and laughter, yet I'm a strong, calm, gentle protector who just wants to take care of people.

Who knows how long I was on that couch, but I felt like I had just made love to the whole world. I almost needed a cigarette.

I got up and took some trippy pictures with my tripod, danced around, and came up with some good ideas for future art projects. Mushrooms are becoming my driving force through art school
Thanks for reading, if you made it this far.

people lead you to believe theres something wrong with being 20 something and living with your parents. we're still young, no reason to rush it.

It's cuz people are so damned materialistic these days and expect people to go form HS to college or a career instantly and then work their hands to the bone til their dead and live in poverty or just comfortably in the meanwhile.

I dont see that as being the life we should lead and no one else should either. Lifes too short to be worrying about money all the time or material meaningless things.

More people need to trip and share and rebel against society's misguided values. Like the 60s/70s .

i say be comfortable while you can. later in life when youre old and eating catfood, you'll wish your parents were still around to take care of you.

My parents dont take care of me now. I just live a different lifestyle. I choose to live a very freegan lifestyle and take odd jobs for cash. Some weeks I can pocket well over a grand other weeks it may only be 50 bucks but I manage my money well and even have investments. I just dont see the need to work 40 plus hours and work my hand to the bone for things I dont want or need. I live a simple life and I live off the land. I hunt, I fish, I grow produce organically in my garden. We all make choices but I am healthier, freer and have done so much more with my life and travelled and seen so much more than people who keep their nose to grindstone all the time never really looking up often enough to notice the beautiful things in life.
