I agree. I don;t think either of these guy are bad people. It's just that neither of them have policies that are compatible with my beliefs.

I think the problem is that they're both incompetent.  When asked about the economy and how to fix it, they both gave vague, bs answers, when in my mind at least, the answer is very simple; we need stricter regulations and guidelines in the financial and housing markets along with better oversight and enforcement.  Or something along those lines.  They give the same vague, noncommittal answers in response to every issue.

They used to call them "ward heelers".  Basically paid shepherds of the flock.  I had to deal with some community organizers in Brooklyn and the Bronx a couple of times.  In Brooklyn we had to put a guy on the payroll to sit out front so that other organizers knew the job was taken.  He was the victim of a drive-by.  In the Bronx they kind of had to fuck off since we had a whole pile of local Rasta on the payroll already.  They were both extortion scams.
