Two state solution would likely be what it was like pre oct 7th. Which was still zionism. No leftist or socialist should ever advocate for that. That would be foolish.

That sounds like the difference between ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Pretty easy thought experiment -
If Germany's crimes in the 30s and 40s were committed by 2 parties instead of 1, would you vote for one of those parties?

Would you support a politician that publicly argued that Germany should receive "defensive" weapons as they were committing the holo caust?
No you wouldn't. So why support AOC?

Would you support a politician that was against ending the holocaust for over a year, blamed Germany's victims for their own slaughter, and constantly reaffirmed Nazi Germany's right to exist? No you wouldnt. So why support Bernie Sanders

Both of these are supported by hasan and mamdani.

What even is the difference?

Genocide is both defined and recognized as a crime under international law -- ethnic cleansing is not, it's more of a descriptive term -- too often I see ethnic cleansing used as a euphemism for genocide, rather than referring to anything substantially different

Israel's genocide didn't begin on Oct 8th -- that's just when a preponderance of evidence began to make it impossible to hide

Quote:
Before the reign of Roman Emperor Constantine (who legalized Christianity in 313 CE), the Middle East did not have a single, countable "number" of religions; rather, the region was a vast mosaic of dozens of distinct regional, imperial, and local belief systems divided across major empires and tribal groups.

Quote:
Almost all of the modern Middle East and North Africa was predominantly Christian (under the Byzantine or Eastern Roman Empire) before the 7th-century Arab-Islamic conquests.

It's the final week before elections in Israel and things are about to get much worse

In another glaring example of the apartheid system governing the West Bank, weeks of rampant settler attacks on Palestinians during the olive harvest have seen Israeli politicians oscillate between half-hearted promises to rein in the violence -- promises that have gone unfulfilled as the IOF continues to operate alongside and in support of Israeli settler paramilitaries -- and outright denials that the violence is occurring, dismissed as antisemitic slander

Remember: Palestinian children are routinely shot with live ammunition for throwing stones, while settlers commit violence with impunity

And now, after Palestinians fighting against their oppressors killed two Israeli soldiers, the Israeli government is threatening to impose sweeping restrictions on Palestinian freedom of movement -- the message is clear: the Israeli government has the power to intervene against settler violence, but not the will -- because settler violence is state violence

“The lives of the residents of Germany, of the German settlers, the lives of the soldiers, the lives of the police officers, the lives of our fighters are a million times more important than freedom of movement for the Jews.”

- Joseph Goebbels, in explaining the need to establish Jewish ghettos -- oh wait no, this was said by Israeli politician Ben-Gvir:

"The lives of the residents of Judea and Samaria, of the settlers, the lives of the soldiers, the lives of the police officers, the lives of our fighters are a million times more important than freedom of movement [for Palestinians]."

Zionism in 1950: "The only method which has proven itself effective, not that it could be justified or ethically condoned, but effective when Arabs lay mines among us… [is that] we disturb the neighbouring village tranquillity, including the women, children and elderly; [and] then they wake up and complain to the government about the border crossings, and in this way the Egyptian and Jordanian governments are motivated to prevent incidents of this nature…. And they must prevent deeds of this sort, that is, they must stop them on the Arab side. The method of collective punishment has up till now demonstrated its effectiveness." - future IOF chief of staff Moshe Dayan

Zionism today: "The Israeli military has begun demolishing Palestinian buildings in the city of Hebron, after two Israeli soldiers were killed in an attack by two Palestinian gunmen. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military would "destroy" the neighbourhood where the two attackers came from, and that Israel was ready for "extensive action" in the occupied West Bank."

It has been noted how many of the refugees are unexplainably fat, the result of food donations from their enemy in war time.

All they have to do is not attract fire on the Green Line.
