So I gopuffed a couple of things on their app while coincidentally, and randomly talking to a friend about flossing my teeth the other night, and I ended up getting this little sample thingy(I guess?) with my order, shit you not.

It really is a trip being there. Feels like a different country or something. Absolutely stunningly gorgeous backdrop there too on that island in the one of the Great Lakes. I love how everyone is on bikes and seeing the streets just lined with them.

Idk. It seems so super specific and weird that they'd have these samples and the promo mailing just waiting at the chance for some targeted advertising aimed at people interested in flossing :lol:.

At the same time, eavesdropping definitely goes on pretty rampantly in lots of different ways in terms of advertising. It's just kind of weird that this lined up so perfectly. I feel like it's just a bit too perfect to actually be planned, and probably just all chaos and coincidence. 


I think it's more likely just a coincidence, but when I pulled it out of the bag I was like 'oh shit lol'.

Hmmm.

Ive noticed already this year that theres been an increase in syncronicity. Just last night, both me and madmodder had "events" happen at our workplaces and nothing really eventful has happened for both of us for months it seems. 2020, Year of Symmetry :wink:

I always notice ads pop up in random websites when i search for anything that costs a bit of money. Those ads are relentless.

Near Dylan: Yeah, probably the reason. No ones travelling to Hawaii since so many Chinese tourists go there (especially O'ahu).

I had thought about flying to California in May for an event and checked a few months ago and the tickets started at $500 or so, just checked again now and it's gone down to $224 - and that's in Canadian dollars! would be a good time to fly if you want to save money :smile:

The year of symmetry is a nice name for what has been a pretty shitty year all around so far for the world :lol:


But I'm inclined to agree with you a little in the sense that I think this is either synchronicity or a pure coincidence, rather than someone being that competent at targeted advertisement lol.


Btw, have you ever seen I Heart Huckabees? Might be time for a rewatch for me, what with all this talk of synchronicity.

Sounds ridiculous but squirrels have been seriously stressing me out all day, these fuckers have been running back and forth along the eavestroughs incessantly and the noise has been driving me nuts. Pun intended I guess.
