Right.  What reasonable person would second guess an opinion written by Antonin Scalia?  You know, aside from half of the supreme court.  :deal:

also a bandwagon appeal as well. all fallacious. but nevertheless, you were trying to demean his character, before you even looked at the argument's postulation's therein the case's decision and literature from Scalia.

Stop throwing around all these statistics.  Did you know that 93.7% of statistics are bullshit anyway?

go and tell that to the leftists in Politics. LOL

PS: LOL i see what you did there.

Uh, that second one isn't even mine.

And jesus, how does the fact that half of the Supreme Court disagreed with Scalia disparage his character?  Also what does logicallyfallacious.com have to say about an appeal to authority?  :deal:

how? because you poisoned the well. instead of offering a refutation or argument, you simply poisoned the well, and this is a fallacy of reasoning. it also promotes the audience of a debate to be potentially fooled, which is even more disingenuous.

Exception: Appealing to authority is valid when the authority is actually a legitimate (debatable) authority on the facts of the argument.

You writing and posting that comment is literally the exact thing that you're trying to deny.  Except that you're doing it recursively, now.

no, Scalia has reasonable authority because he's dealt with the actual case itself, and was the judge in that case. hence his opinion is valid to debate. you ignored it for the sake of the easy route of poisoning the well.

i'm so sick of you people. it's like you're zombies. you have no original thought, nor any idea about what you actually speak of.

PS: then, next time, a thing shows up, a debate, the likes of you then opt for the authorities of institutions to be put into the debate, in pure hypocrisy. but maybe not you, maybe you just don't care about debate, and merely stick to shitposting.

yes, you people. the left is filled with you people.

baton - insert into anus - now.

 this is the way it should be. you make the wealth, my baton activates my neural net, *squink squink*, erm, fits well, now to take that wealth other's created and redistribute it to those who didn't create that wealth, based on the assumption that because i contributed to the aggregate total sum of wealth, minutely, that i have a say in where it goes- i am like the right-wingers who complain about what the government does with their tax money after the fact of giving it away. i am a robot who cannot see when things are illogical.

go me. go leftism!

Can we agree 20 + guns of any kind is not practical and can be dangerous?

What if you sell guns?

As long as you have a proper license of course but Stephen Paddock did not have a gun store.  In fact I think gun stores are the last line of defense as far as keeping high-powered weapons that aren't for defense or hunting out of citizens hands.  Also I think shooting ranges being more readily available would help quite a bit.  The Thing that scares me the most is auction sites and gun shows because that is the lack market just sanctioned. You still have some restrictions but I think it's too easy to get guns online and at gun shows.

Then you probably aren't storing them in your house, in actual preparation for the zombie apocalypse.

I'm not sure what's impractical about having 20 guns and how it's dangerous.

it would cost you a fortune in gun safes, for one thing.  Each additional gun is one more that could get stolen, or accessed by a clever kid, for another.  I don't think it is worth arguing that guns aren't dangerous when they clearly are.  Lots of things are dangerous and impractical.  Ferraris, snow skis, sky diving, many others.

What if you're practicing aerobatics, run out of room in which to recover from a spin, and have to bail out of your airplane?  :deal:

I no longer understand the point of this debate. Gun laws will not be implemented in any shape or form, and if anything, restrictions will be loosened. That's what's happened for the last two decades, and it won't stop now.

Personally, I agree with a post I saw back on the front page of this topic. "It's just the cost of freedom". Another person mentioned gun deaths, ~30k/yr total, ~10k murder, ~20k suicide. That there is the cost of doing business. Get used to it. It's part of the fine print for being a US citizen. In France, people just assume you have a baguette and a cigarette, in Spain, we assume you're about to have a civil war, and in the US you may be randomly shot by a spree shooter any day. If you don't like the idea of randomly being shot by some gun nut, then move to a different country. Too poor? Sucks.

EDIT: Heh. You call them "Mass Killings"? I call them "Freedom Rounds".

Something is wrong with you in the head.
If one of your loved ones was killed in the mass shooting in Vegas I bet you would be singing a different tune.
