I lost the spark

Life seems so bland right now, I cant feel happy and I cant feel sad. When Im with my girl I dont feel a single god damn fuckin emotion run through me anymore. I cant get excited to hang out with people anymore, I dont feel excited to blow through a bunch of money. Im sitting on a wad of money you think I'd be happy about that but no. I dont know whats wrong with me Im breathing but I aint alive, I lost it, maybe some of you have went through this before, how do you get it back?

Exercise gives me 'the spark' back. It's always a rather profound impact on my mood and wellbeing.

The other day I was feeling pretty depressed, sorta foggy and sluggish and couldn't think of a single thing that I could do for enjoyment. Then I jumped on a bike and went at it pretty hard for 20min. Slept good that night and woke up the next day in a much better state.

Giving a large amount of money to charity is not gonna cheer me up. I've been thinking about I working out I think I might have to now its been a few months since I last hit the gym.

I go through phases of depression and melancholy. I also lost my spark a long time ago. I get excited or sparked about random things usually. I can't really put my finger on the switch and say that's it. Physical exercise definitely helps though.

Like others have said... exercise.  It can make a world of difference.

Also, try to make time to meditate for 10-15 minutes a day.  There are some good guided ones you can find online.

If you go to that link, there is a free 21 day guided meditation you can sign up for that is starting July 16th.  I did the one they had during the winter, and it was amazing.  I have never been in such good spirits, and so centered.

Psychedelics. I'm like the ice man, I don't really feel emotions and feel like I am constantly on benzos but psychedelics bring it all back with a vengeance. Its often too much to handle, after months or even years of being emotionally numb, I take some mushrooms then suddenly I'm overloaded with emotions.
