m420's Syringe making Tek

m420's Syringe making Tek explains an easy way to make clean syringes.

Nuke water for 8 minutes, suck the hot water in a syringe and let it cool.
Put a metal tray in the oven and put a glass jar in with it. Heat oven to 400° and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool and reheat oven to 190°. Open door so that you can slide out the rack and use the jar on top of the metal tray (tray is to work on). Wipe syringe needle with rubbing alcohol and flame sterilize it. Now open the print you have and lay down next to jar. Squirt 4 ccs of water into the jar, and scrape all the spores into the jar. Now squirt the rest of the water into the jar going back and forth, not swirling the water. Stir for a few seconds slowly (swirling in a circle makes all the spores stick to the jar sides). Now slowly suck up the spore water. You should now have clean syringes ready to inoculate.

This so called Oven Tek is known to be notoriously unreliable. It works for some, it doesn´t for many others.
IME working in a clean, draft free room or a glowebox is better.

Using 1 whole print for 1 syringe is a waste of spores. Using an area of the print measuring 1/3in x 1/3in is more than plenty.
