Casing
Casing is a method of adding something such as peat/verm to the top of your substrate to give a micro climate (not yet updated visit the forums for better info) (tek links working)
Casing refers to adding a layer to the top of your colonized substrate to give a micro climate right on the surface of your substrate, although not needed for cubensis to grow it is a great method to aid in giving your substrate ideal conditions on the surface.
