I dress well. Skinny jeans, button down shirt, fresh hair cut, and new shoes. I feel like a sharp dressed man

I dont usually wear button down dress shirts and pressed pants, but at the same time I dont usually wear filthy rags. I wore a couple dirty tye dyes AND a couple ironed dress shirts over the course of last week.

Though I keep long hair and a beard Id describe how I dress as "normal". Im wearing a polo and athletic shorts right now.

I go to either extreme , depending on what Im doing, how Im doing it, etc.

I could see myself drifting, or living as a hermit and wearing the same thing for a year, with a beard down to my nipples. At the same time I can see myself having a villa in Morocco, one on Nauru and one in Belize and wearing tailored designer suits, keeping my beard well trimmed and professional. Im a very adaptable person.

The clothes dont make the man, its the man that makes the clothes.

No, just ones that fit my form fairly well and highlight my long legs

The ones in that picture make my balls hurt just thinking about them

Ah, I gotcha.

I like thin loose fitting, just most comfortable for me.  I have long legs as well, (I am 6'3").

although I believe strongly in good hygiene, I also believe the rags we cover our body with are there for mere protection from the elements and like all other "things" are impermanent.

always dress like your going to see someone you want to impress, it will probably happen.  one time I dropped off some stuff to this girls house I had liked and then had to drive half a state away and work all night and then drive back and sleep an hour and go to class.  I didn't bother changing and sure enough I ran into her again wearing the same clothes, I felt like dirt.  Button downs are my style also.

I wouldn't be able to stand myself if I didn't work to have a good outward appearance... not only do I keep good hygiene and dress appropriately (Shorts and T's in summer while biking/hiking, dress shoes, nice pants and nice shirt when going out to dinner or something etc.) I feel the absolute need to exercise and take care of myself physically as well, I drink and shroom out, but I also do bike trails, swim, hike, jog, play sports/recreation, and go to the gym in the off season (winter)

But yeah, I still don't give two shits what anyone else looks like... to each their own.

I used to dress horribly. Just t-shirts and khaki cargo pants combined in whatever order they were stacked in my drawers. Long greasy hair, and I was chubby to boot. Learning how to cultivate my appearance has greatly helped my self esteem

:werd: man

and what is 'jonesing'? I KNOW I've heard and learned that term before, I'm just drawing a blank on it currently.

I would say I dress very well. Actually throughout highschool and currently, people always comment on my style of clothes and whatnot. I was actually a candidate for 'bessed dressed' in HS.

I really like to stick out and wear nice fresh and flamboyant clothes. Like the type that people go "wow that's a sick shirt!' or 'man wear did you get that hoody? that is tight!" I also match seriously anything and everything I wear. Color coordination is a big thing for me when it comes to my clothes, i don't like to NOT match my clothes. I try to keep my hats and kickz clean too (don't care about ymm skate or bball shoes tho).

I am definitely fashion and style savvy and a sharp dresser overall

but....

Felt like throwin that one out there

I shop at thrift stores and I think I choose carefully enough: all of my clothes look, smell and feel new or close to it. In public, my clothes must be clean; other than that, I'm not too picky about how they look. Usually I buy plain, solid-color t-shirts and sweaters with blue or black jeans that fit well but not too snug. Fashion is not very high on my list of priorities.

I work in an office, so I have to dress somewhat professionally at work. I pretty much just end up wearing jeans and a t-shirt, or polo shirt at home. Maybe once a year or so Ill go buy some nice clothes, and stop being a bum for a few months. I'll probably be doing that withing the next month or so.

Looking good will give you a nice boost of confidence if you're felling bummed, it makes it allot easier to get by on implied authority too. If you look, and sound like you are supposed to be telling people what to do, they will usually listen to you.
