You are driving me from this country, are you satisfied? Im going abroad to start something new, I had been thinking about this for awhile, but tonite just set the whole plan in motion. I guess all my travelling and meeting people abroad is going to get me out of living in this mess. I dont hate my country, but Im tired of ignorance being the rule of the day. adios

Maybe you'll come back to find the country has gotten smarter. Just as Samuel Clemens found his father had.

I'm curious about something. The people that hate Bush, what has changed in your life that makes him so bad? Did you lose a job because of him? Did you get investigated for being a terrorist?
I hate both Bush and Kerry, but I have a hard time understanding why Bush is so much worse.

Does it have to be you who lost the job, or you who was investigated for being a terrorist in order to dislike a man for it? Or could you care about others? If not, well yeah, you just might be a good republican.

Please refrain from labeling me for any party.
I'm just on an honest quest to find people on this board that have actually been affected by Bush policy.

Bush honestly believes he is doing the right things, and that is the worst thing about him. All we can do now is pray that God will guide him to make some good decisions. Let us focus our energy on the positive and hope for the best. Thank you to everyone who voted today for what you believe is right, regardless who you voted for or the outcome. Peace be to all.

American leftists should keep themselves busy trying to find a reason to impeach. At least Jon Stewart will have an easy four years of content.

Witnessing the suffering of others has an effect on me.
So does my fear of the place Bush is leading the world to.
People who have no job can't afford internet connections very well anyways. They are likely proportionatly unrepresented on internet boards.

1. What suffering are you referring to?
2. Where is Bush leading the world?
3. Point taken. Why do they have no job? They refuse to take the work that is out there? Can't pass a drug test? Free Trade? Outsourcing?
I want to point out here that I don't have any agenda to prove ANYBODY wrong or anything like that. I just want some info for my own personal thinking.

I feel the effect on the economy, and in turn the job market has effected me, as a recent college graduate having a hell of a time finding full time work. Honestly, my life is not that horrible compared to 4 years ago, but I don't believe that I have to come up with examples of how my own life is affected to justify why I don't like our president. It's bullshit. I don't like his approach to the war, his deficit spending, his irresponsible tax cuts, his annoying smirk. He's what they call a good ol' boy, which is great when he's on the ranch in texas, but not at the white house.
ok now thats off my chest...
You say you are leaving? I too am considering it, but I have no idea where to go or how I'm going to afford to do it without my move leaving me instantly homeless, especially with no savings. I've considered england, because with the same language, I could assimilate quicker. Although, I kinda speak spanish and could pick it up quickly in a spanish speaking country. Where are you going? How do you plan to get hooked up with a job and place to live? I'm just curious cause for me to do so is going to take some serious planning. I guess my next step is to weigh the pros and cons of some countries.

I would like to thank all the other Bush/Cheney voters as well. We couldn't have done it without you.
Thank God, or Dad in my case.
