Ah of course 😣 I'll hold off on that thanks!

Has me thinking now though - 6mm inner diameter aluminium tubing is cheap.. File the edges sharp and sand a hole with a spindle sander to give that aperture where you can poke the sample out if needs be. Some of that reusable, moldable thermoplastic for a quick handle.

I think I have all of that lying around, I feel a project coming on!

Here we go, about 0.25c in materials. Will report back on efficacy!

looks very multipurpose

Dude!!!

I'm gonna have to make me a different handle now 🤣

About $100. For with a 1 liter flask. + postal to send it to Europa. And taxes. Stil more cheap to get something of the same quality. Where I am, it seems like I can get the lower quality for the same price I'm paying now, or lots more to get of identical quality. So, well, I treated myself today!

As someone into tinctures, can you explain what this is and how it helps?

It is a soxhlet. I am going to use this soxhlet to get water and alcohol soluables from Lion's mane soon. And plan to do herbs in summer. I have done  a lot with putting herbs with alcohol in jars. Want to try this out, it should speed things up a lot.

You can find lots about this; search for dual extraction soxhlet

Nice! I constantly wonder if life would be better with this vs my 2 gallon that is a pain to fill. I may have to do this in the next few months.

How big of a tent? Mine is just running a Martha greenhouse, but I have a 3x3 that I use mostly for plant starts from now to mid May that I could repurpose. Already have a stainless bakers rack in it too for seedlings.

May there be much moist mist in your future!

I just got and set up a 8'x4'x6.5' Im able to wall it off through the middle and turn it into two separate compartments so im gonna have gourmets on one side and actives on the other. This big Humidifier is going to the gourmet side. I dont want to have to worry about the water level so im gonna pipe a second 7 gallon tube that will keep the fogger at just the right depth at all times. Im lazy so this is my over top way of not having to fill it up often. :kingtard:

I still need my float valves, proper fittings/adapters, waterproof fan and the multi head fogger.

In five years, I've gone through three multi-head misters.  Now I'm trying reptile foggers because I'm tired of replacing expensive equipment.

My setup is pretty unorthodox, but I believe I can run two tents (4*4*6 and 2*3*5) off one fogger and one water tray. With the small one running 90%+ (Pans) and the big one at 80%+ (gourmets).

(Said water tray)

Anyway, the reptile foggers sound more reliable than the multihead fogger.  So, food for thought before starting on one.  Especially for smaller tents.

Oh for sure, I actually knew that beforehand from experience (I've worked with agar before in a microbiology lab job context)

Found this vintage pc on fb marketplace,  looks barely used, if at all.
Obviously I’m concerned AF given the implications if it fails…but for $25 it might be worth a look…
What you guys think?, what should I be looking at the hardest?
Seals ect and the pressure gauge are my biggest concerns.

Having her send me a pic of the inside of the lid a littler later today as well.

Nice score. Seals and such can be replaced. If the metal is sound you should not have anything to worry about. Check inside for any pitting and such. A little pitting is ok and from what I can see the inside is looking pretty tidy.
