Drugs aren't for everyone and you are one of the people who can't handle your drugs. Stop doing drugs. You're giving responsible drug users a bad name.

Why would you smoke crack? And with a crackhead/junkie? Why would you let them in your house and why would you let them know you have a drug safe? Is this even a real story?

Because crack is awesome...
I didnt tell her I had a safe or where it was, I was in the middle of an OD and left it sitting on a table in my room with no way to hide it while i remained in hospital for 3 weeks, I thought that was stated already.. Yes this is %100 a real story.

One thing I considered is my buddy tossing my drugs for my well being, but if so then why didn't he throw them all out? And why leave the sketchiest ones? It doesn't make sense for him to be involved at all imo.

I was in the hospital with no way throw out these drugs, today is the first day since being admitted to hospital that I've looked at my stash. Some of the stuff stashed in here was destined for the toilet anyway but my LSD and MDMA certainly weren't. Or my cash.

It's not like I was going to eat that DOC again.

I don't believe she saved my life because I learned some lessons from this whole bad trip believe it or not, but she could have put others in danger selling that DOC..

I wouldn't do anything. It's kinda the tradeoff in life we make to dabble in things like that. When things go wrong there are no cops or insurance to get ours back. It sucks but it's better than...

Getting your ass whooped by anyone she knows if you confront her.

Getting laughed at to your face when you tell her dad about the money.

Doing something serious and getting arrested.

Setting her up and living life as a narc, like someone above mentioned.

I would just let it go.

That money and those drugs are gone. If they werent she wouldn't be running around town trying cash forged checks. Charge her and let her know that you know she broke into your place and stole your shit. Be classy and tell her karma is a bitch and walk out never to see her again. It will be a moment she will remember from time to time when she is out there being shady, and maybe she will start making changes for the better.

Do not commit extortion. You just lost your toes, don't lose your freedom too. Otherwise you'll be known as that toeless bastard with dreads in cell block 4.

What kind of charges / consequence is she looking at?

I figure I can charge her with:
- break and enter
- theft
- fraud

Wouldn't have expected him to be onside over the lost drugs but that's cool. Unless her car is in his name though I don't see how he could transfer the ownership to you.
