so there is all this popcorn?
    #1907340 -

well it seemed like an interesting idea to grow myc on popcorn. so that is what happened.

now there are 18 half-pints and 6 pints of nicely colonized popcorn.

never really thought it would work on first try, was just having some fun. i used the karo tek to get myc. got my syringes sterile, sucked it up, and injected jars.

i never really expected it to work out so well, but i did follow the tek to the t, so i should not really be surprised i guess.

now i have all this colonized popcorn, what the heck do i do with it?

i have read quite a bit on it and was just wondering what you folks would suggest. i have never cased anything before (just cakes) so what is the best thing in this instance?

btw the strain is LY.

thanks everyone.

That's just a few ways that you can do it.

or, if you wanna keep it simple

lay your korn out in a tray, case it with alittle less than an inch of peat moss (add some lime) or jiffy mix, incubate till hyphal strands reach surface, expose to fruiting conditions.
